Bio of the artist:
Born in 1978 in East Berlin is a Berlin based artist who studied sculpture/fine arts at Weißensee School of Art Berlin (BA and MA).
He investigates and explores cityscapes and urban spaces through public performances and interventions. In frequent collaborations with the film maker Mischa Leinkauf the works are captured and presented as short films, photos or video installations.
The work of the internationally acclaimed duo has been widely screened and exhibited, among others at the MOT Tokyo (2012), the Kulturhuset Stockholm (2012), Museum of Contemporary Art Roskilde, Denmark (2010), and at Eye Beam, New York (2007).
